2. Nature of the service

Certyze is business-to-business workflow software for Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs), their franchise and representative networks, and the Accreditation Bodies that oversee them. It supports client intake, audit planning, auditor assignment, non-conformity (NC) management, and certificate issuance in line with ISO/IEC 17021-1, 17025, 17065 and IAF MD requirements as configured by each customer. Certyze provides the software system; the certification decisions, audit judgments, and certificates issued through it remain the responsibility of the CAB and its accredited scope.

3. Intellectual property

The Certyze name, logo, platform, and certyze.com site — including its design, workflows, and underlying software — are the property of Thinkdata Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Customer data entered into a CAB's Certyze instance (client records, audit files, certificates, and related content) remains the property of that customer.

4. Accounts & acceptable use

Access to Certyze is provided to CAB customers and the users they authorize — Head Office staff, franchise representatives, auditors, and clients. Each account holder is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity carried out under their account. Certyze may not be used to circumvent scheme, IAF, or accreditation requirements, or to misrepresent auditor qualifications, audit findings, or certification status.

5. Standards & accuracy disclaimer

Certyze automates calculations such as man-day estimates and enforces eligibility rules such as auditor-scheme matching, based on the standards and configuration each CAB customer provides. These features are decision-support tools; they do not replace the CAB's own competence, judgment, or accreditation obligations, and Certyze does not guarantee that use of the platform alone satisfies any specific accreditation or regulatory requirement.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Certyze available and performing reliably, but the platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Scheduled maintenance, third-party infrastructure issues, or events outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect availability. Specific uptime commitments, where applicable, are set out in the relevant customer agreement rather than on this page.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thinkdata Labs and Certyze shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of certyze.com or the platform. Nothing in this notice limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Specific liability terms for paying customers are governed by the applicable Master Service Agreement or order form.

8. Third-party links & integrations

certyze.com and the platform may reference or embed third-party services (for example, hosting, email delivery, or analytics providers, and CAB-owned websites hosting Certyze application forms). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party sites we do not control.

9. Governing law

This notice and the use of certyze.com are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Thinkdata Labs is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise agreed in a specific customer contract.
